Creative playthings can be a great way to keep children entertained.
But if your children are on a low-interest diet, they may want to look elsewhere for a good plaything.
“If your kids are on an intermittent diet, you’re going to need to take them on a longer-term one- or two-month diet,” says Dr. Paul Norenzayan, assistant professor of pediatrics and director of pediatric medicine at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
It’s best to keep things as simple as possible, Noreznayan says.
If you’re worried about the food your kids will be eating, it’s important to get your kids on a high-calorie, high-protein, high fat diet.
That’s a good idea, but it also means that your kids may be overfeeding themselves on their own, Nereznayan adds.
So, make sure you get your child a variety of playthings.
The best toys to keep them entertained include: Toyland’s “Funhouse” doll.
Golf clubs, soccer balls, footballs, golf clubs and soccer balls are all fun to play with, and toys like these can be fun to use.
They’re not perfect, of course, but they’re fun to have around.
Disney Junior’s “DuckTales” and “Dorothy,” both toys with a Disney princess theme, are great choices.
They can be great for kids who have trouble talking or staying focused.
Coco’s “Tennis” and Playmates “Fiesta” toys can be good playthings for children who need to keep a game going and want a fun toy.
I recommend playing with your child at least three times a day.
If you don’t want to play too much, play with a friend.
But keep in mind that playing with children is a lot more fun when you’re playing together, says Dr, Michelle Miller, pediatrician and director, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center.
When you’re home, make playtime a priority.
The more you can make your kids feel comfortable playing, the more likely they are to play, Norenzayan says, especially if you can take them to playtime in the evening.
For your toddler, the best toy to have is a stuffed animal, especially a stuffed panda.
A stuffed pangolin is great for keeping them occupied and a favorite for toddlers to play around with, especially for their older siblings.
Noreznayas recommends using toys for a variety to give your child variety.
You can use them for different activities or make them play with the toys you dont use.
If your child has difficulty with toys or doesn’t want them, just give them a toy.
